The mission of Kiwi Cares is to enrich the lives of our campers, TEAM, and surrounding community by empowering them to be the best versions of themselves through opportunities for continuous growth and development.

By partnering with neighboring schools, Kiwi Cares is able to provide a limited number of sponsorships for campers who might not otherwise be able to enjoy all the benefits camp offers. Moreover, we know that children aren’t the only important learners who live the Kiwi life – Kiwi Cares works to provide financial scholarships to our TEAM members who are working towards continuing their education.
Kiwi Cares is also heavily involved in the community; facilitating volunteer opportunities at local nonprofits, donating goods and services for local town and school events, sponsoring community events, and aiding in fundraising efforts for local charities.
Though the years following its inception have been particularly challenging for many, Kiwi Cares has successfully worked to:

Donate over 6,000 canned items to local pantries and 330 backpacks to local organizations

Provide 19 performance-based academic scholarships to our TEAM

Raise thousands of dollars to provide need-based camper scholarships to 9 worthy individuals
