Claremont Elementary School of Ossining Wins Kiwi Country Day Camp’s 2015 “Gaga for Good†Contest
With more than 2,000 votes received, Claremont Elementary School of Ossining received nearly 32% of the votes in Kiwi Country Day Camp’s premiere Gaga for Good contest. The school will receive an inflatable gaga court and a $1,000 donation to their charity of choice, the Ossining Upper Elementary PTA, courtesy of Kiwi Country Day Camp.
Gaga for Good was created by Kiwi Country Day Camp as a way to combine one of their favorite camp activities, gaga ball, with the opportunity to give back to the community and support local school health and wellness programs.
Elementary schools throughout Northern Westchester County, Mahopac and Carmel were able to register for the chance to win an inflatable gaga court for their school and a $1,000 donation for the charity of their choice. Participating schools and their charities included:

Adam Wallach, owner and director of Kiwi Country Day Camp, explained, “We really enjoy partnering with our local schools and communities throughout the year to provide youth programs and to support their fundraising events. The idea for Gaga for Good was born out of our never-ending desire to teach children the value of both healthy living and social responsibility. We are very excited to award Claremont Elementary School as the first-ever winner of Gaga for Good.”
Voting took place May 9-15, 2015 by visiting KiwiCountryDayCamp.com. One vote was accepted per valid email address. The school that accumulated the most votes during this time would win an inflatable gaga court and a $1,000 donation to their charity. Updates on the voting tallies were posted daily to Facebook (facebook.com/campkiwi) and KiwiCountryDayCamp.com. The winner was announced May 18.

Kiwi Country Day Camp has provided campers with an authentic traditional camp experience since 1953. Their formula for success blends a wonderful facility with a dynamic and creative program, offered by highly-spirited and interactive staff. The core program offers campers a variety of sports, adventure, performing/creative arts and daily instructional swim led by professional educators. KCDC is for campers ages two through fifteen years of age. They offer a traditional five-day and three-day per week programs, ranging from four to eight week sessions (which do not need to be consecutive).
